BREAKING NEWS!!!! The EN2010 World Conference will be held in ...?

Wow. Hard to believe it's already been almost 16 months since we held the EN07 World Conf in Manila. And almost impossible to believe that we are already starting to work on EN2020...!!! Yikes!

And the breaking news? EN2010 will be held in ... Manila, Philippines!!!

Yes, the Philippines beat out over 200 other countries in the world!!! Okay, so maybe not all 200 were vying to host the EN2010, but we're still super excited that the World Conference will be held in Manila again.

So, now that we know where it will be held, start planning!!! start saving!!! and, well, give us your ideas!!!

What speakers would you like to see at EN2010?

We had some great EN07 photos submitted to our shared photos section of the EN07 recap website -- this photo but Jude Lingan of VCF Tuguegarao is one of my favorites -- it really brings back the excitement that was in Araneta Coliseum as we watched the big screens count down to the start of the World Conference!

Some of my other favs are shots taken from way up in the green (bleacher) section -- the "green people" made a lot of noise, got cool en07 pillows to take home, and took some of the most creative shots and made me wish I had made it up to the bleachers to take in the awesome view of the stage and the coliseum from there (I had planned on going up but after running around all week in heels preparing for en07, I wimped out at the thought of running all the way up there).

More than Meets the Eye

Kids from around the world whose parents attended EN07 had their own simultaneous service at the adjacent Gateway Mall. For the three days of the world conference, children also got to hear the Word and meet kids from all over the Philippines and across the sea.

Each day had a different theme: Friday's was Happy Feet and Saturday's was Herbie and Cars. The highlight though was seeing Optimus Prime attend Victory Weekend and then reach out to Megatron and the Decepticons on Sunday, the last day of EN07.

EN07 Day Three: Sunday with Every Nation

The third and final theme of the conference was "...to the ends of the earth" from Acts 1:8.

Delegates from Nigeria performed a special number during the offering before Every Nation Co-founder Steve Murrell showed a video of highlights that recap EN07. He then summarized the three days of our world conference into one word which is the key to discipling and leading the world to Jesus - love.

His single point: Motion produces the emotion.

Celebrations were then marked with giant inflatable beach balls, delegates dancing on stage, confetti and lots of hugging all around.
