A crucial step in a missionary's journey to becoming a vocational minister with Every Nation Ministries — after responding to and confirming God's call on one's life — is developing ministry partners through a partnership development training program.
Every Nation Ministries Department, Ministry Partnership Development (MPD), will be doing training on partnership development to teach soon-to-be ministers the why and how of finding partners who will provide the financial support for reaching campuses, or cities and nations, and even new churches. God calls us to either "go" or "send" into the mission field. Partnership development is the bridge between those who go into missions, and those who send them.
Going into the mission field is definitely not for the faint of heart as it requires a deep sense of calling and tremendous faith to step out and leave more traditional nine-to-five careers. Missionaries pour their lives into investing in others' with the love of God. Oftentimes, you'll find them moving cities to start a new church where churches are few and far between, on a campus telling students about Jesus, or even flying overseas with their families to a foreign nation to share the Gospel.
Sending missionaries into the mission field also requires a level of commitment. It's not uncommon for a person to have a heart to see a city, campus, or nation reached with the Gospel, but unable to physically go as a long-term vocational missionary. This is where the ministry of partnership development makes it possible for "senders" to actively participate in advancing God's Kingdom without having to set foot where missionaries go.
Wherever missionaries are called, ministry partners make it possible for missions to happen. The ministry of partnership development makes it possible for everyone to actively take part in seeing the Gospel shared. It offers opportunities for men and women to financially partner with those who go through a monthly partnership or a one-time gift. The result: going to every corner of the globe with the Gospel; sending others to every corner of the globe for the Gospel.
The Ministry of Partnership Development launches their annual Ministry Partnership Development Training Program next week with stops in Nashville, Honolulu, and Raleigh, as our Schools of Ministry wind down, and graduate this year's crop of students.
